Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Your California Privacy Rights
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 ("CCPA"), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 ("CPRA"), California residents have the right to direct businesses that sell or share personal information to stop doing so. This right applies regardless of whether the business actually monetizes the data; the legal definitions of "sell" and "share" are broad and can include disclosures made for cross-context behavioral advertising, analytics, or co-marketing arrangements. Blum Realty Group respects this right and provides this page so that any California resident can exercise it without barrier and at no charge.
Blum Realty Group does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, like most modern websites, blumrg.com does include third-party tags and pixels (such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and Microsoft Clarity) that may share certain identifiers, device information, or browsing activity with those platforms for advertising attribution and analytics. Under the CCPA/CPRA, that activity may be classified as "sharing" or as a "sale" depending on interpretation. Submitting the form below tells us to disable that sharing for your browser, profile, and known contact records to the maximum extent we can technically implement.
What Submitting This Form Does
When you submit a verified Do Not Sell or Share request, we will:
- Stop disclosing your personal information to third-party advertising and analytics platforms in a manner that constitutes a "sale" or "share" under the CCPA/CPRA, except where a recognized exemption applies (for example, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or fulfilling a transaction you specifically requested);
- Update our internal records and any contact-management or customer-relationship-management systems that store your information so that downstream marketing partners receive your suppression status;
- Honor your request for a minimum of twelve (12) months from the date we verify it, after which time we may, but are not required to, ask you to renew your preference; and
- Pass your request along to any service providers or contractors who acted on your information on our behalf during the preceding twelve months, where doing so is technically feasible.
You have the right to designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. If an authorized agent submits a request, we may require written proof of the authorization and verification of the consumer's identity. We will not discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising any right under California privacy law - your right to receive equal real-estate brokerage service is unaffected by your decision to opt out.
Verification & Response Timeline
To prevent fraud and protect consumer data, we may need to verify your identity before processing your request. Verification typically involves matching information you submit (name, email, phone) against information already on file with us, and in some cases responding to a verification email sent to the address you provide. We commit to acknowledging your request within ten (10) business days and substantively responding within forty-five (45) calendar days, with a possible extension of an additional forty-five days if reasonably necessary, consistent with the response windows set by the California Attorney General's CCPA regulations. In practice we aim to complete most opt-out requests within fifteen (15) business days of submission.
